MALACCA: Two secondary schoolboys have been remanded for seven days for allegedly sexually assaulting their 13-year-old female schoolmate.
Malacca Criminal Investigation Department chief Assistant Commissioner Kamaluddin Kassim the boys were remanded since Friday to assist in rape investigations.
"We understand that the boys and the girl were students of SMK Sungai Rambai and know one another.
"The incident took place at the school about 2.45pm on Sept 27," he said.
On Thursday, a Form One girl was believed to have been raped by two senior students, aged 14 and 15, at a storeroom in the school.
The teen boys allegedly took off her uniform and raped her, but fled upon being spotted by an administration staff of the school.
Kamaluddin said the girl, who was accompanied by her parents, lodged a report at the Sungai Rambai police station at 5.30pm on Friday.
He said that the girl was also referred to the Malacca Hospital on Friday.
