KUALA LUMPUR: Two videos making its rounds on social media featuring a white Toyota vehicle allegedly bullying road users, is currently being investigated.
In a bid to be fair to all parties, City police chief Datuk Amar Singh said they have even opened two investigation papers.
He said one was on the white Toyota driver and another on a senior citizen who was seen arguing with the driver in one of the two videos.
He said both men have lodged a report, adding that their statements have also already been recorded.
“We are currently investigating the case under the under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
“Once investigations are complete, we will submit it to the deputy public prosecutor,” he said during the Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters Hari Raya open house.
In one of the videos uploaded on July 16 by Facebook page ‘Metafora Anafora’, the two men were seen fighting after an accident as some motorcyclists tried to calm the situation.
The other video uploaded in the same posting saw the same white Toyota vehicle in another alleged road bullying incident.
Viewers can hear voices of two people, believed to of a man and woman, talking about the car in front that was blocking their way.
Towards the end of the clip, the man stopped his vehicle in front of the couple, got out and made rude hand gestures before driving away.
Amar did not mention if any reports were lodge by the other driver in the second video.
