Woman stabbed to death for rejecting sex

PETALING JAYA: A woman was stabbed to death after rejecting sex from a man she had known for two months here last night.

The woman, Asmaul Chasanah, 28, was stabbed in the chest and found dead following an argument at the Masjid Al-Husna parking lot at 10.18pm.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din said the woman had known her attacker, a fellow Indonesian named Untung, for about two months and had gone on several dates with him.

“The man had, throughout the two months, spent money on her and had sexual relations with her.

“However, he came into financial difficulty recently and was unable to give her money.

“The woman rejected his attempts to have sex, which incurred the man’s wrath. He then attacked her,” he said.

After stabbing the woman, the man proceeded to stab himself in the stomach and drank poison.

Police were alerted to the incident and both individuals were taken to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre at 1.50am.

The man has since been arrested.
