KOTA KINABALU: Police have solved an 11-year-old motorcycle theft case with the arrests of a 19-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman.
Sabah police Criminal Investigation Department director Senior Assistant Commissioner Azmi Abd Rahmi said the man was arrested at a squatter house in Kampung Likas in connection to the stolen motorcycle.
"During the raid, we seized a motorcycle stolen in 2013," he said.
The motorcycle was stolen in Taman Kemajuan, Likas, in December 2013.
Police later arrested the woman at the Kota Kinabalu district police headquarters.
"Based on our investigations, the woman was involved in the theft and sale of the stolen motorcycle."
The case is being investigated under Section 379A of the Penal Code for vehicular theft.
