KAJANG: A 22-year-old man was arrested after a clip of him performing a 'wheelie' stunt and other dangerous maneuvers on his motorcycle was uploaded to Facebook and went viral.
In the 17-second clip, the man is seen riding his motorcycle in a reckless and dangerous manner.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abd Yusof said they detected the video at around 7.24pm on Wednesday.
"The incident was believed to have occurred along Jalan Persiaran Kemajuan Bandar Baru Bangi," he said in a statement today.
He added that following investigations, police managed to track down the man and arrest him.
"He has been remanded for one day to help with investigations.
"The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act for riding in a reckless and dangerous manner," he said, advising all motorists to practice safe and courteous driving.
