JOHOR BARU: The three people who were arrested yesterday over the disappearance of six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui, were brought to the Johor Baru Court Complex here this morning.
The three are expected to be remanded to facilitate investigations into the case.
The two male suspects dressed in the orange and purple lock-up attire arrived at 8.45am accompanied by police officers, while the the female suspect arrived 10 minutes later.
The three , aged between 28 and 55 years, are expected to be remanded to facilitate investigations under Section 365 of the Penal Code.
Yesterday, the three suspects were arrested at around 1.30pm around Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri.
Leo went missing at about 8.30pm, on Saturday while at the Eco Galleria business center, Iskandar Puteri near here.
It is understood that the child has yet to been found.
Last last night, Johor police chief Commissioner M. Kumar said the three, aged between 28 and 55, were arrested in Iskandar Puteri, Gelang Patah, Johor to assist in the investigation.
Kumar, in a statement said police have also reclassified the case under Section 365 of the Penal Code for kidnapping or abduction with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.
