A video of the incident was posted on Facebook today.

The 46-second video, believed to be dashcam footage from the complainant's vehicle, showed it driving out from a petrol station at night when another car passed it.

Shortly after, a motorcyclist rode out of another petrol station and blocked the complainant's vehicle.

The rider got off the motorcycle and approached the other vehicle, which was parked in front of it, opening the back door of the vehicle and grabbing an object.

He then ran towards the complainant's vehicle as it tried to flee the scene.

Other people were also seen getting out of the parked car.
