KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested four people in connection with a fight that broke out between a group of people at an entertainment centre in the Pudu area early yesterday (Aug 10).
Following a report received over the fight at 3.45am yesterday (Aug 10), a police team was deployed to the scene to check on the situation at the entertainment centre.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said police found three bullet casings and two live bullets at the scene.
"Four men, aged between 29 and 40, all locals, sustained injuries from a sharp object used during the fight.
"They were rushed to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital and Ampang Hospital for treatment.
"All of them have been arrested after they were discharged from the hospitals," Rusdi said in a statement yesterday.
He added that police will obtain a remand order against all suspects today.
The case, he said, is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for possessing weapons at a riot and Section 39 of the Arms Act 1960 for discharging of shot in public.
