It was reported that police detained a 22-year-old man and his girlfriend following an incident where he allegedly brandished a 'kerambit' during a football match at KLFA Football Centre last Monday.
Police arrested the man, believed to be an upcoming football player, and his 21-year-old girlfriend at his house in Klang on Aug 8.
A team from the district's Criminal Investigation Division questioned the couple before the suspect admitted to using a kerambit in self-defence during the match.
