KUANTAN: The remand order on the four suspects in the murder of a housewife, who was found strangled inside her house on Aug 14, has been extended for another seven days.
Kuantan police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said the remand on the four suspects aged between 27 and 62 years old has been granted until Aug 28.
The four individuals who have been remanded are the victim's husband, father, father-in-law and mother-in-law, who are both Chinese nationals.
In the incident, the 28-year-old housewife was found dead with strangulation marks inside her bedroom.
Her father had earlier lodged a missing person report at 3.25pm before she was found by her husband at 7.30pm the same day.
Police investigations found no forced entry into the house while the victim's handphone and car keys were missing.
