KOTA BARU: The state Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) expects to collect RM1 billion in sales next year.
State Fama director Ibrahim Mahmood said these included sales from fruits, vegetables, school uniforms and various other items.
“To achieve the RM1 billion target, Fama is planning to set up more business areas for the public.
“As a start, 20 florists were given the opportunity to sell flowers and plants at the flower selling area and this business will start at the end of September,” he told reporters at the state Fama’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house here, today.
Ibrahim also said a food court and a new area called ‘Pasarina’, which sells daily items, will be set up to help achieve Fama’s sales target.
