KUANTAN: A total of 188 people are on the honours list in conjunction with the official birthday of the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah, today.
Leading the list is Urusan Golden Armani Sdn Bhd director Azlan Azmi, who will receive the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), which carries the title of “Datuk Seri”.
Also receiving the SSAP are Sincerol Sdn Bhd director Lee Chee Jing; Ensure Alliance Sdn Bhd executive director Ong Chee Kean and Erayear Venture Sdn Bhd chairman Wong Sze Chien.
Asia Capital Assets Limited chairman Datuk Ngu Tieng Ung will be the sole recipient of the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang which carries the title “Datuk Indera”, while Finance Ministry secretary (International Division) Datuk K. Givananadam is the sole recipient of the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang which carries the title “Datuk”.
Seventeen people will be awarded the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), which also carries the title of “Datuk”. Among them are Pahang Customs Department director Hadzri Sabri, Serdang police chief Datuk Megat Mohamad Aminuddin Megat Alias, Big Tree Event Supplies managing director Sunil Sachdev Singh and lawyer Albert Ding Choo Earn.
Also receiving the DIMP are Educate, Develop and Nurture consultant Professor Dr Hazadiah Mohd Dahan; Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (Southern Region) director First Admiral Abu Bakar Idris; Rural and Urban Development Ministry secretary (Infrastructure Division) Ahmad Firdaus Baharuddin; Special Officer to the Deputy Prime Minister, Mohamad Asri Mat Jusoh and Pengurusan Dwi Vista Sdn Bhd managing director Norazmi Merah.
Others are Vista Spectrum Sdn Bhd managing director John Au Sing Choy; Menawar Resources Sdn Bhd MD Abdul Awahab Khalid; Pekan District Council president Rose Samsul Abd Razak; retired senior assistant commissioner Razali Bakar; former MMEA officer First Admiral (Rtd) Abdul Razak Lebai Omar; KPJ Tawakkal executive director Mohd Farid Salim; Raman Enterprise director Raman Wahid; and, Aura Aromatic (M) Sdn Bhd MD Dina Asmadi Mansor.
Eight people will receive the Setia Ahmad Shah (SAP); 25, the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP); 14, the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP); 48, the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP); 19, the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC); 23, the Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT); and, 28 will receive the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK).
The awards will be handed out in a ceremony at Istana Abu Bakar in Pekan by Pahang Regent Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
