KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Friday paid a visit to the residence of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in Jalan Langgak Duta.
Five MACC vehicles were seen entering the house compound 11am. Also seen were around 10 MACC officers, who then entered the home of the Pekan member of parliament.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki, when contacted, said the meeting was to help them gather information on a specific investigation.
However, he said there are no plans to disclose the nature of the investigation.
“There is no raid. It was just a meeting to gather information,” he said.
The MACC officers left the residence around 12.30pm.
