GEORGE TOWN: One motorcyclist was killed while another sustained injuries in a crash involving their respective motorcycles with an oil tanker.
The incident took place on the mainland-bound direction of the Penang Bridge, this afternoon.
The dead has been identified as M. Parithimalar, 33, believed to be a nurse, who was pinned below the oil tanker.
The injured has been identified as a 25-year-old man.
Operations officer Saladin Abdul Rahim, from the Jalan Perak Fire and Rescue Station, said when they arrived at the scene, they found three vehicles involved in the accident - the oil tanker and two motorcycles.
