KUALA LUMPUR: The vaccination centre (PPV) at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) in Shah Alam will be closed today (July 13) after a worker tested positive for Covid-19.
The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) also encouraged those who came for vaccination at the PPV between June 29 and July 12 to conduct self-assessment and undergo testing if they develop symptoms associated to the virus.
The CITF in a statement said the immediate decision to close the PPV for a day is to enable the authorities to carry out sanitisation works.
"All vaccination appointments for today have been rescheduled to another date that will be informed to recipients soon.
"Details will be notified to the public from time to time," the CITF said in a statement.
