KUALA LUMPUR: LRT services between the Kelana Jaya and Ampang Jaya stations, affecting 16 stops, are currently halted.
Rapid KL, via their social media account, urged passengers to utilise free feeder bus services or use alternative transport methods to reach their destinations.
LRT users are crying foul over the disruption, however, as they question why the train services have yet to be fully restored, considering the frequent disruptions since last week.
Affected passengers also complained that they needed to fork out extra to get to their destinations using e-hailing services.
On Facebook, Shaun A. Pillai said: "This has gotta be the worst one yet this year, three days in a row."
Another user, Alex Wee said: "Astaghfirullahalazim, broke down again, RapidKL needs to give compensation of a month's free pass to the affected passengers, it's expensive to Grab and there're no cars at 5.30pm, yesterday, we were also affected by this service disruption."
Chew Kim Soon said: "It's been days, still cannot repair the service along Kelana Jaya line."
SyuHada Rosli said: "Today spent RM90 on Grab, syabas!"
Ayu Hanna said: "On the way from Glenmarie to Dato Keramat, I am contemplating how should I go there, check on Grab it takes RM46, yesterday I need to pay RM33 from Ara Damansara to Dato Keramat, I am not getting RM10,000 a month!"
Rishen Al Romano said: "Two breakdowns in one day? It's not logical at all, we see service disruptions almost everyday."
One Twitter user, @thenotsoprince said: "No buses at all waiting for passengers at the Damai station, I'm already late for work and I have to spend RM23 for Grab to my office which I definitely can reach there by using your service that I have paid monthly."
Many also asked Rapid KL if the services would be fully resumed tomorrow as they needed to plan for their trips if the services remained disrupted.
