PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will have good news to announce to mark the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming said this on his Twitter yesterday.
In the post, Nga wrote," The unity government will bring another piece of good news which will be announced by YAB PM Anwar Ibrahim for Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year. Stay tuned!"
Nga, however, did not give a hint on what sort of good news it would be.
His post sparked excitement among Twitter users, with some hoping it would be toll-related while others asked for more public holidays.
User @wanafiqhaikal said: "Toll free and additional holiday, please."
Another, @Fawie_akmal, wrote: "The best. Looks like it will be toll free."
User @shafiqfirash said he hoped the good news would bring joy to Malaysians.
"Great. Hope it will make the rakyat happy as Hari Raya Aidilfitri is coming."
