KULAI: A 59-year-old lorry driver was killed when his vehicle collided head-on with another lorry along Jalan Perindustrian Sedenak near here today.
The impact of the crash wrecked the lorry driven by the victim and left him pinned to his seat. He died on the spot in the 6.44pm accident.
Kulai Fire and Rescue operations commander Mohd Khairil Buang said the driver of the other lorry, which was laden with sand, escaped the accident with minor injuries.
Mohd Khairil said the case has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
