KOTA TINGGI: A 50-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision at Jalan Kota Tinggi-Taman Puteri Wangsa, here, early today.
The deceased identified as S. Siralan was trapped in the seat of his Nissan Navara pickup truck after a 30-year-old in a car crashed into his vehicle at 1.20am.
District Fire and Rescue operation commander Sufian Mohamed Lis said despite efforts to rescue the trapped victim, he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other survived the crash without any injuries.
Sufian said the body was released to the police for further action.
The operation concluded at 5.15am, which included clearing the site of the accident debris, for the safety of other motorists.
