TUMPAT: PKR candidate for Pasir Pekan, Mohamad Zamakh Sari Ibrahim was among the first to cast his vote at SMK Kampung Laut here at today.
Arriving at the voting centre at 8.20am and registering his name, Zamakh Sari then walked into the room to cast his vote in one of the six polling channels.
In today's election, he would be facing a straight fight with caretaker Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob for the Pasir Pekan state seat.
Pasir Pekan is among 45 state seats which would be involved in today's election.
A total of 3,396 voters are expected to cast their.votes at the school today.
