SEBERANG PRAI: A Crow Sharpshooter (Ops CroSS) operation on mainland Penang yesterday saw a restaurant owner sustain nearly RM2,000 in losses when a crow fell into a big pot of soup on his premises.
Twin Cafe Sup88 restaurant owner's post on the incident has since gone viral.
In a posting on Instagram, two men are seen showing a dead crow, as well as its feathers and blood, inside a soup pot and on the lid.
They say they have no choice but to throw away the soup as it is no longer consumable.
Twin Cafe Sup88 is located in Jalan Taman Puteri Gunung, Simpang Empat, near here.
The Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP), which carried out the operation, said they had contacted the restaurant owner.
"MBSP has always ensured that all operations are carried out smoothly and safely."
