SUNGAI BULOH: Two furniture factories were razed in an early morning fire here.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail said they received a call on the incident at around 5.09am on Saturday.
"We immediately deployed 35 personnel, four fire engines, two emergency medical rescue service vehicles, and three water tankers to the scene.
"The personnel and assets came from the Sungai Buloh, Bukit Jelutong, Damansara, Rawang, North Klang and Subang Jaya fire stations.
"They arrived at Jalan Industri Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh at around 5.18am and began operations to put out the fire," he said when contacted on Saturday.
He said the fire involved two furniture factories and fire engulfed 90 percent of both buildings.
"We managed to control the fire at around 6.17am and by 7.45am, we began overhauling the scene
"The cause of the fire and estimated damages are under investigation," he said.
