KL City Hall removes stalls obstructing public spaces

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (KL City Hall) conducted a special operation against traders obstructing public spaces around the Wangsa Maju constituency, yesterday (July 5).

In a Facebook post today (July 6), KL City Hall said items from five stalls were confiscated under Section 46(1)(d) of the Street, Drainage, and Building Act 1974 for placing business-related items in public spaces.

"All the seized items were taken to the store in Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja Cheras, Kuala Lumpur for recording and documentation," it said.

KL City Hall stressed that it will continue to take action and monitor the identified key locations from time to time.
