KUALA LUMPUR: A video of an out-of-control garbage truck jumping the divider and causing an accident has gone viral.
Gombak district police chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said the incident occurred around 1.13pm today.
"Our checks revealed that the incident occurred along the Middle Ring Road 2 near the Batu Caves temple.
"The truck was headed towards Kepong when it tried to avoid a motorcycle and veered into opposing traffic," he said in a statement.
He said the garbage truck hit a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
