PUTRAJAYA: A woman was critically injured after being trapped under a container truck and dragged for about 80m following a motorcycle accident here yesterday.
The crash happened near a roundabout at the Sultan Abdul Samad Mosque, Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said the department received an emergency call at 3.22pm.
"A fire engine and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services team were dispatched to the scene.
"Firefighters found that the accident involved a container truck and a motorcycle ridden by two women, 25 and 39.
"One of the victims fell and was pinned under the truck's tyre. Firefighters rescued this critically injured rider. Her companion had minor injuries.
"They were taken to Cyberjaya Hospital."
