KUALA LUMPUR: A fire broke out early this morning at a food court in Jalan AU 5, Taman Lembah Keramat, Ampang, destroying 80 per cent of the premises.
However, no casualties were reported during the incident.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a team of 18 firefighters from the Ampang, Pandan, and Wangsa Maju stations were deployed to the scene after the department received a distress call at 5.49am.
"There were eight stalls at the food court affected by the fire, which damaged 80 percent of the premises," the spokesman said.
