POKOK SENA: A 79-year-old man died while his 3-year-old granddaughter was injured after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Kampung Sungai Durian here today.
Another individual, a 67-year-old woman, was also hurt in the crash.
Pokok Sena Fire and Rescue station chief Bakar Saad said received a distress call at 9.16am.
"Upon arrival, it was found that the accident involved a Nissan Almera and a Yamaha Ego motorcycle ridden by an elderly man and his granddaughter.
"The man was confirmed dead by a Health Ministry officer, while the two injured victims were taken to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital for treatment," he said.
