MUAR: The missing 14-year-old teen, Muhammad Effzaldanish, was reunited with his family today and was given a clean bill of health at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital, here.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said police took him for a medical checkup upon his return at 10am today.
"He is healthy and in good condition," Raiz Mukhliz said in a statement.
He also urged the public to refrain from making any speculations or assumptions, as the investigation is still ongoing.
The Form Two student from SMK Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah 1, Pagoh, was reported missing on Monday.
He was last seen walking alone to school by his 90-year-old grandmother on Sunday.
Effzaldanish, an only child, lives with his grandmother Jaminah Shari, after he lost his mother to breast cancer three years ago.
