HULU SELANGOR: The discovery of a woman's body at the Perigi Tujuh recreational area in Serendah today has shocked the local community.
The body, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, was found floating face down at 10.50am.
District police chief Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim confirmed that the victim was 48 years old.
"An initial examination revealed no external injuries, signs of a struggle, or any other apparent injuries on the body," he said in a statement.
The body was transported to the forensic unit at Hospital Kuala Kubu Baru for a post-mortem at 2.45pm to determine the cause of death.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
