KUALA LUMPUR: Brake failure caused a roro bin truck to crash into a trailer at the Sungai Balak toll plaza in Kajang near here today.
In the 11.30am accident, the roro bin truck was heading to Batu 18 from Dengkil when the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the trailer due to the malfunction failure.
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said that during the accident, the roro bin truck alos hit the concrete structure at the toll plaza.
He added that both drivers did not suffer any injuries in the incident.
The case is being investigated under Rule 10 LN166/59 for loss of vehicle control while driving.
