ALOR SETAR: Only 89 people from 25 families remain in temporary flood relief centres (PPS) as of 8am this morning.
Kedah Malaysia Civil Defence Force director Major (PA) Muhammad Suhaimi Mohd Zain said those in three PPS were villagers from Kampung Alor Gunong and Kampung Suka Menanti.
"They include 39 men, 33 women, 15 children and two babies," he said.
Yesterday, it was reported that floodwaters in Kedah have largely receded.
Kedah has been hit by floods in recent weeks, forcing thousands of people to evacuate to PPS throughout the state.
