DBKL demolishes illegal structures in Kepong

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has demolished five illegal structures on a shared property in an operation at Mawar and Lily Apartments in Taman Intan Baiduri, Kepong.

In a Facebook posting, DBKL said the operation was conducted by its Enforcement Department, assisted by the Property Management and Valuation Department, Integrity Department, Health and Environment Department, and the Batu Branch Office.

Other agencies involved included the police, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, and Pengurusan Air Selangor.

"Meanwhile, the owners of three other illegal structures, as well as a shrine, have committed to removing them voluntarily," it added.

DBKL gave it assurances that it will continue to take action and monitor other areas which have been identified.

"The public is encouraged to lodge complaints or provide information via the available channels listed on DBKL's official platforms."
