KUALA LUMPUR: Water supply to 29 areas in the city affected by the burst pipe in Pasar Seni Hub has been restored to 66 per cent; 3pm today (Oct 8).
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), in a statement, said repair works are underway and are expected to be completed by 9am tomorrow (Oct 9).
"The areas that are still affected are Brickfields, Bukit Bandaraya, Bukit Bangsar, Bukit Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Taman Bandaraya, Taman Bangsar Baru, Taman Lucky, Taman SA (Bangsar) and Taman SA (Damansara).
"The duration of the water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer's premises and the water pressure at the distribution system," the statement read.
Air Selangor said it will mobilise water tankers to affected areas, with priority given to critical hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funerals.
Members of the public can refer to the Air Selangor app, website and social media channels or call Air Selangor's Call Centre at 15300 for information on the water disruption.
