As explained in the caption, Tajudin began with a 3.9-kilometre swim, showcasing his enthusiasm as he glided through the water with a joyful bounce at the race's start.
He then embarked on an impressive 180km cycle around Langkawi, waving cheerfully to his son as he pedalled along.
The endurance challenge continued as Tajudin entered the final sprint, running 42km from day into night.
Despite appearing tired, his stamina shone through as he high-fived spectators on his way to the finish line.
A heartwarming highlight occurred when Hakiem joined his father for the last 3 kilometres, a testament to their strong bond and mutual support for each other's passions.
Tajudin crossed the finish line in an impressive 15 hours, 54 minutes, and 23 seconds, celebrating his achievement with a joyful dance - embodying the spirit of perseverance and triumph despite his age.
In an interview with Says, Tajudin shared that this isn't his first endurance event, as he began competing in 1983.
He stays in top shape by regularly lifting weights and doing cardio through cycling, running, and swimming.
