KUALA LUMPUR: TV3 marked a new chapter today with the first broadcast of Buletin Utama from its new home in Balai Berita, Bangsar.
Anchors Mior Abdul Malek Raiyani and Azaria Tagaya had the honour of presenting TV3's Buletin Utama news from the new studio.
Tonight's episode of the news bulletins opened with a look back at Media Prima Television Networks' (MPTN) three-decade legacy and history at Sri Pentas, as editors, journalists, and broadcast engineers reflected on the bittersweet move while expressing optimism for the future.
MPTN staff, as well as top leaders from all three publications under the New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd (NSTP) and REV Media Group were present during the Buletin Utama first broadcast from Balai Berita.
Beginning Oct 21, all stations under MPTN, including TV3, 8TV, DidikTV, and TV9, will begin broadcasting their respective news bulletins from Balai Berita, Bangsar.
Jasbant Singh, who is MPTN executive advisor (news and current affairs), said the television networks have been gradually broadcasting from Balai Berita since the start of this month, beginning with DidikTV on Oct 1.
