KUALA LUMPUR: In a touching video on TikTok, a group of students could be seen running towards their coach with excitement and gratitude, and placing the medals they won in a game around his neck.
Shared by @your_favvsya, it was a moment when the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their coach after winning second place in a sports competition.
However, the kind of competition was not stated in the video. The name of the school was also not stated.
The coach, who some commenters said was a teacher in the school, was sitting with other coaches when his students ran up to him from behind and took turns placing their medals on him.
He appeared to be overwhelmed with emotion as he stood up, raised both hands and bowed to thank his students.
The video had garnered over 1.1 million views and 31,200 likes, sparking pleasant comments about the coach.
User @zaraalisha21 said she felt emotional watching the coach being appreciated by his students.
