KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today launched seven operations rooms at its headquarters and branches in Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Terengganu and Kelantan.
This, it said, is to allow the public to channel any information and complaints regarding corruption and power abuse in the state elections and Kuala Terengganu by-election.
"MACC would like to remind all candidates and political parties contesting in the elections against carrying out activities that are against the law and election regulations, in accordance with the MACC Act 2009 and Election Offences Act 1954," it said in a statement.
