KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) have shot up 126 places in the world clubs rankings.
The Southern Tigers now sit at world No 447 and are ranked 31st in Asia.
JDT, who won the FA Cup last Saturday, are now No 2 in Southeast Asia.
These are based on the data released by football analytics website, Opta Analyst which has kept track on about 13,500 clubs worldwide.
Opta stated that JDT had collected 72.7 points, allowing them to rise from world No 573 in February.
No other clubs from Malaysia were listed in the top-500.
In Southeast Asia, JDT are ranked second behind Thailand's Buriram United who are world No 418 with 73.1 points.
English Premier League champions Manchester City are No 1 with 100 points followed by Germany's Bayern Munich (95.5) and Liverpool (93.8).
