KUALA LUMPUR: Pahang Rangers, coached by Spaniard Gerard Casas, are targeting a futsal double,
After clinching the Malaysia Premier Futsal League (MPFL) crown, they now eye the Malaysia Futsal Cup.
On Monday, Pahang bagged the MPFL title after beating Johor Darul Ta'zim 9-6 on aggregate. Pahang lost the second leg 3-2 to JDT at the Pasir Gudang City Council Stadium on Monday but won the first leg 6-4.
Casas said his men showed great character to win the MPFL title although they were given a tough time by JDT.
"After failing twice in the 2019 and 2022 final, we finally lifted the title. Our next mission is to win the Futsal Malaysia Cup and complete our campaign this season."
