JDT ranked 13th in Asia

KUALA LUMPUR: M-League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are 13th in the 2025 Club World Cup Asian rankings.

The Southern Tigers, who regularly play in the Asian Champions League, collected 38 points — 12 competition points and 26 match points.

JDT recorded eight wins, two draws and nine losses.

Based on their ranking, JDT are the second-highest ranked team in Asean behind Thailand's BG Pathum United, who are ninth with 46 points.

Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, who currently lead the Asian rankings with 106 points, and Japan's Urawa Reds, who are eighth with 49 points, have already qualified for the 2025 Club World Cup.

The other teams in the top 10 of the Asian rankings are Jeonbuk Motors (79 points), Ulsan Hyundai (71), Kawasaki Frontale (64), Al-Nassr (58), Pohang Steelers (56), Al-Duhail (53) and Yokohama F Marinos (42).
