KUALA LUMPUR: The Johor juggernaut have just run over Shanghai Shenhua, and Perak are in their way tomorrow.
And there is no sign of Johor Darul Ta'zim slowing down when they meet Perak in a Super League match in Ipoh.
JDT proved they belong to the elite club in Asia by crushing Shanghai Shenhua 3-0 in an Asian Champions League Elite (ACLE) match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Tuesday.
But JDT head coach, Hector Bidoglio, is aware of Perak's newly found vigour as the Silver State have gone on a three-match winning run in the Super League to place fourth in the 13-team table.
The Venezuelan coach said:
"We want to maintain our momentum. However, we must be cautious of our opponents' tactics.
"They've won their last three matches, and their morale is high and they will aim to deny us a victory, but we will play with more dynamism and maintain high intensity."
The JDT attack is expected to be spearheaded by Arif Aiman Hanapi, who has been devastating in the ACLE, and
Bergson da Silva, who has netted 14 league goals so far.
