MOTO2 rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah has urged his fans to respect the Movement Control Order (MCO) enforced by the government due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and not be selfish.
Hafizh, who is a fitness freak, said he has found ways to keep himself occupied and fit at home in Kuala Lumpur.
“We (Malaysians) have been placed under MCO for two weeks and if there is nothing important, please stay at home... don't go out and lepak," said the Aspar Team rider.
“We must not be selfish. Together we can prevent Covid-19 from spreading. Stay at home for now and wait and see what the (government) decides.
“I am a person who normally cannot stay indoors for long. I love to play football and love to cycle outside.
“But for now, I do my workouts at home to stay fit and healthy.
“If you must go out, don’t forget to wear a mask and use a hand sanitiser.”
The 26-year-old is a keen amateur footballer and cyclist.
In December, he competed in the Tour de Selangor, which is a UCI2.2 event.
