PETALING JAYA: Media Prima's New Straits Times (NST) and TV3 were honoured during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Creator Awards today for their contributions to the eSports industry.
NST and TV3 received media appreciation awards at a ceremony held here. NST sports editor Ajitpal Singh and TV3 representative Al Shaiful Nazib Talib were present to accept the accolades.
"I would like to thank MLBB for recognising NST's efforts in promoting the sport," said Ajitpal.
"We will continue to tell the stories of success that inspire, unite and showcase the passion of this incredible community."
The MLBB Creator Awards acknowledge not only outstanding organisations but also individuals who create content that generates interest in MLBB.
MLBB is a mobile multi-player online battle arena game developed and published by the Chinese developer Moonton Games.
Moonton Games also organises the MLBB Professional League Malaysia (MPLMY), which features the best teams in the country.
The top two teams from the playoffs in Johor Baru next week will represent Malaysia in next month's M6 World Championship in Bukit Jalil.
