Singaporean man dies following beach massage in Phuket

KUALA LUMPUR: Another sudden death has been reported in Thailand, with a Singaporean tourist allegedly dying after receiving a body massage at Patong Beach in Kathu district.

According to a report by Bangkok Post, Patong police chief Pol Col Chalermchai Hernsawad said the incident occurred around 11.03pm on Saturday (Dec 7) when the beach massage shop informed the police about the incident involving a Singaporean tourist.

The deceased, identified as a 52-year-old Singaporean man, had just undergone a 45-minute oil body massage and he reportedly was in a relaxed state after the treatment but soon stopped breathing.
