KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV host, actress and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor’s faux pas at a nightclub over a month ago seems to still be haunting her.
Having courted a storm of criticism online over the inappropriate choice of venue to host her hijab launch, many have considered the issue resolved after the 29-year-old Kau Yang Terindah and Suri Hati Mr Pilot actress issued a formal apology on the matter.
But motorists would have noticed that the incident is now alive and healthy on a particular billboard that has got many tongues wagging.
The advertisement read: “Dear Lofa. In truth a zoo is nobler than Zouk. Sincerely from JenamaSendiri.com.”
When met at the launch of the End Cyber-Bullying And False Information campaign at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre here today, Neelofa calmly issued a warning that she is considering taking legal action and added that she took the incident seriously.
“I will not give them the opportunity and I will not keep quiet about it,” said Neelofa, who was named amongst Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, last year.
The billboard, which was apparently erected along the Federal Highway, is believed to be a stab at the Meletop host with the purpose of promoting the brand.
A photo of the offending signage was shared online by a Netizen which was picked up by news portals last Friday.
