KUALA LUMPUR: After actor Remy Ishak spooked fans with claims that he was haunted by a “pontianak” while prepping his role the upcoming film “The Legend Of Pontianak”, his cast member Nur Fazura Sharifuddin recently revealed that she too had seen a female vampire at the film set in Hulu Langat.
“It was already night time and I was eating with the production crew in between takes.
“I joked about hearing stories of ‘pontianak’ ‘visiting’ the set. And then suddenly someone said ‘look there, near the ‘rumah pondok’.”
“I turned to look and there it was, this chilling ghost-like figure of a woman with really long hair. It was my first time seeing a ghost.
“What made it spookier is the fact the ghost was wearing what looked like the kebaya outfit I wore during filming that day.
“She stared at me from afar, and that creeped me out but I kept calm and try not to think so much about it,” said Fazura, sharing her pontianak sighting on the set of “The Legend Of Pontianak”.
Fazura, when met at the press screening of “Janji Zehan” at GSC The Gardens, here yesterday, said in “The Legend Of Pontianak”, she plays a female vampire.
Helmed by Singaporean director Glenn Goei, the horror also stars Hisyam Hamid, Nadia Aqilah, and Tony Eusoff.
