KUALA LUMPUR: It sure takes a lot of patience for actress Zarina Zainuddin having to deal with her twin sons born with autism spectrum disorder.
Earlier today the actress shared some videos on her Instagram of one of the pair, Muhammad Razil Azrai a.k.a. Azil, 23, throwing a tantrum and started crying in the car.
Her caption to one of the videos reads: “He wanted to follow Azal (his twin brother Muhammad Raizal Azrai) to the gym... I asked him to get back into the car, and started throwing tantrum... I don’t have the heart to give him the prescribed medication this morning and as it will only make him physically weak.
This is the risk dealing with an autistic child who is a grown up, he has a lot more strength and energy.”
In another video, it depicts the 48-year-old artiste losing her cool and breaking down.
Accompanying the video, she wrote: “I’ve to deal with the pain. My shoulder is aching after Azil struck it three times. I can still be patient. Hopefully Azil will know how to take care of himself when I’m no longer around.”
While Azil suffers from hyperactivity disorder, his brother suffers from a milder version.
