KUALA LUMPUR: The departure of Jessica Jung from the ultra popular K-Pop group Girls’ Generation shocked many fans back in 2014.
Although the legendary music outfit which formed in 2007 is still in high demand, Jessica has also managed to carve a successful career as a solo artiste and actress.
According to Koreaboo, Girl’s Generation member Sooyoung was queried about the unfortunate parting in a recent interview.
The interviewer apparently asked: “One of SNSD’s (Girl’s Generation short form moniker) biggest crises after 10 years is that Jessica left the group. Was this an extremely difficult time to be in SNSD?”
Sooyoung apparently remained calm and collected when the prickly question was put forth to her.
She finally gave an answer by quoting a line from the famous Korean drama series, Goblin.
“All the days we spent together are exciting days, whether it be good days, bad days, or just good enough days,” she said.
Fans, dubbed Sones, expressed their opinion on how classy Sooyoung’s response was and that her answer signaled the acceptance of the popular group’s past while at the same time in not holding any ill will towards Jessica.
