#Showbiz: AC Mizal forms entertainment and shopping network SUKE TV

KUALA LUMPUR: Multi-talented entertainer Datuk AC Mizal hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of Malaysians with his very own brand new broadcast network company, Suke TV.

"Since last year, people have tried to be optimistic in facing the challenges of the pandemic era from emotional and economic perspectives.

"It has also been a very challenging phase for the local media and entertainment industries in coping with the new normal.

"We at SUKE TV have worked hard to formulate interesting content for viewers from various backgrounds.

"Everything is done in order to raise the spirits of viewers. We offer a modern on-demand digital TV experience coupled with a 24/7 broadcast service.

"We are proud that this has been created by Malaysians for Malaysians," he said in a news report today.

The 49-year-old singer, actor, comedian, TV host and entrepreneur added that SUKE TV would also help celebrities and arts practitioners, as well as small and medium enterprises (SME).

"Celebrities and SMEs can utilise our platform to advertise or promote their products.

"We would like to help people by providing a base for their small and medium businesses.

"Viewers will get to see their beloved celebrities, social media personalities and local entrepreneurs onscreen in the upcoming plans for SUKE TV.

"Our main goal is for SUKE TV not only to be a broadcast channel but also a part of the industry's ecosystem.

He added that the network's motto of We Bring Joy Back was in line with its mission to create well-being via talent, media content and local entertainment.

These aspects would also be supplemented with the new network's accompanying e-commerce platform, SUKE Shop, which enables the convenience of shopping from home.

AC Mizal is thankful for the help of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV), a unit under the Minister of Finance (Incorporated) that provided flexible financing to make SUKE TV a dream come true.

"I want to thank the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for approving the license.

"Many thanks to MDV, as well as its board members and manager, for their strong support for SUKE TV all through the process of getting this network off the ground," he said.

The network is expected to be available via MyTV by year end.
