KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin is delighted that her own brand of traditional headscarves have become a hit among her fans.
Best of all, many of her female customers have started wearing them in support of their screen idol.
"Alhamdulillah. Thank you fans for your support. I didn't expect my tudung brand to be such a big hit with hijabistas, but they sure are!" said the 38-year-old star of films as Kami Histeria, Gol Dan Gincu and Pisau Cukur.
Fazura added that she was moved by her fans' support and encouraged them to "guide one another" in strengthening their faith.
The award-winning actress also said that she would focus on her businesses this year, and only appear in films or dramas that had "strong storylines".
"In 2022, I want to focus on my headscarf business. If I were to star in a film or drama, I've got to look at the script, concept and my collaborators first."
Fazura is married to actor Fattah Amin. They have a daughter Nur Fatima Aisya, 1.
